Gigaopto’s 10G BIDI CSFP transceiver is compliant with the compact Small Form-Factor Pluggable (CSFP) MSA option 2 for 10GBASE-LR/ER and Fiber Channel, allowing two independent bidirectional channels per port.

For channel one and channel two, each features a 1270nm/1330nm DFB mini BOSA, each channel supports 10Gbps throughput and max links up to 40km over single-mode fiber with an LC interface.

It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability, with no damage to CSFP+ and host board if the CSFP+ module is plugged into a conventional SFP socket. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C interface as specified in the MSA SFF-8472.
